Leaving the port, you'll pedal around the harbour basin past Genoa Aquarium and the Old Harbour (Lanterna) all the way to the Porta del Molo. This appealing half-day outing will acquaint you the rich history of Genoa's aristocracy, as showcased in the splendid palaces found along the city's Via Garibaldi. As one of Genoa's oldest sections, Via Garibaldi dates back to the Renaissance era with resplendent edifices that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You'll first meet your guide and then stroll along the time-honored street with inside visits planned at the richly stuccoes Palazzo Nicolosio Lomellino and Palazzo Bianco. Your tour to Guadalest begins with an approx. 1-hour drive, passing Benidorm on the way, to reach the elevated location of this charming village. A short drive to the south of Alicante and just a little inland from the Costa Blanca coastline lies Elche, a Spanish city noted particularly for its abundance of palm groves, one of which is the Huerto del Cura. After an enjoyable coach ride to the city, your sightseeing tour will first take you past Elche's major landmarks before you pay the amazing Huerto del Cura a visit. You can explore the old part, Tossal de la Cala, pay a visit to the Church of Saint James and Anne, dating back to 1740, take a walk along its many famous beaches, reach the viewpoints for a look over the city or look for a souvenir. You will have enough time to visit the city at your pace before joining the coach again for the return back to Alicante and your ship.

You'll head for the excellently preserved Jewish quarter for an external look at the Isaac el Cec Jewish Centre, the site of 12th-century Romanesque baths, also called the Arab Baths due to their Moorish appearance. Moving on again, you'll then head for the town of Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. Once in town, you'll first have time to get lunch on your own, after which you'll pay the fascinating Dalí Theatre and Museum a visit. The museum incorporates the building that housed the town's theatre during Dalí's childhood and is also the place where one of the young artist's first public exhibitions was staged. Apart from giving you a chance to view a huge collection of Dalí works, including 3D installations like the Rainy Taxi and the anamorphic room  the Sala Mae West  in which the face of Mae West is revealed when viewed from a certain angle, the museum is also Dalí's final resting place with the crypt located under the stage. Dedicate a day to exploring the Eternal City on a gentle biking route through mainly pedestrianised areas and side roads with little traffic. First, though, you'll board a coach for the transfer to Circus Maximus, from where you'll then follow your guide by bike. A 1.5-hour drive to Rome begins the tour, after which you'll enjoy a narrated drive, passing the Pyramid, Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, Arch of Constantine, Colosseum and Via Veneto.
